Tri Star Basketball Skills Contest
The Tri Star Skill Contests are projects that were
created by Optimist International as a way for youth to challenge
themselves three technical elements in soccer, baseball, ice hockey,
in-line hockey, football and basketball skills. These contests are the
perfect opportunity for children to have fun while testing their skills
in three areas of the sport of your choice. Each skill offers exciting
opportunities to promote self-confidence and physical fitness. Over
1,000 clubs currently participate in sports programs. We host a local
basketball contest in March of each year at the Brodhead Middle School.
This program is free of charge and open to both boys and girls ages
8-13. Each participant receives a something for participating and the
1st, 2nd, and 3rd places of each age group receive medals. Each 1st
place winner of their age group also qualifies to compete at the S.W.I.S.
District Tri Star Basketball Skills Contest in Mukwonago, WI.
